Planning to take some customers golfing Friday morning next week and was looking at booking the campus course, but haven't played it in years. What kind of condition is it in? Anyone who's played recently know if they sell beer out there?

If you're looking to golf, it should be fine… but golf is a noun, not a verb. Just use "play golf" and it comes off a lot better to people who play golf.
Just looking out…
I played earlier this week and a lot of the rough had been cut down a fair amount, maybe as a result of the drought and such. Had some easier recovery shots than I felt like I would have had earlier in the summer.dcrewint said:
The course is doing well given we haven't had rain in College Station in 2 months +. Jason Barrington and his team got to be working hard to keep the greens green and rolling as they do! The biggest defense the course has is the grown up rough that can be in some sneaky areas.
Yes they have beer. I don't care about the golf vs play golf, it's whatever. Some do,
My daughter is one of the beverage cart girls. They are around.Shake-N-Bake_AG89 said:
It's playing well. Buy beer in the clubhouse you'll be lucky if they have a cart girl out.
Say what you want, I've done extensive research in this area. 99% of people who say they're "going golfing" are 30+ handicaps who tell everyone they shoot "in the low to mid 80s." Yes, I know you're probably the 1%.khaos288 said:
Your mistake is thinking people value your pet peeves over minor semantics.
I'll be sure to go golfing today in your honor
So you hate 30+ handicaps and love being pedantic. You are the worst part of the old guard in golf.Old School Brother said:Say what you want, I've done extensive research in this area. 99% of people who say they're "going golfing" are 30+ handicaps who tell everyone they shoot "in the low to mid 80s." I do not think walking on someones line is comparable to asking someone to golf on a Friday afternoon.
One of those is insanely pedantic, and the other is maybe the first thing your grandpa teaches you on the course.
