Looking for recommendations on courses in Scottsdale for a long guys weekend trip in early June. Would love advice for anyone who has played out there. Thanks!

This. If you're going to Scottsdale to play golf and not playing one of the We Ko Pa courses than you're doing it waaayyy wrong.
Yeah, Greyhawk was the other we played. Troon, We-ko-pa, and Greyawl all better than TPC.cb1919 said:
Greyhawk and We Ko Pa are fantastic. TPC is extremely underwhelming.
Hell of a line up! Glad yall had funtbone94 said:
We just went spring break and had a great trip.
I HIGHLY recommend playing BOTH Greyhawk courses. In a trip full of amazing courses, the courses and overall experience at Greyhawk experience ranked #1 for us. Best greens of the trip too. We got paired with none other than MLB legend Chile Davis so that was a ton of fun!
Next in line I would rank we-ko-pa (either/both courses). There is a 1/2 price replay so play both same day. We stayed at we-ko-pa and had a good experience.
Next I would rank Troon north. We played monument. It was awesome, but we didn't love the bentgrass greens as much as grehawk (rye) or we-ko-pa (bermuda).
We also played Gold Canyon Dinosaur Mountain. Spectacular views and well worth the drive out there. Lots of elevated tees. I forgot which hole, but there was a 285 yd par 3 that played only 215.
Next time we will stay close to greyhawk and play there twice, and likely we-ko-pa in addition to some new ones.

To be honest it's the course I'm least looking forward to. I was making a push to play elsewhere for that round but the group won out.
Still better than being in the office though!
I thought TPC Champions was great considering it's right in town and was in great condition. For the price and location being right next to airport it's a great course to kick off your trip there.Ag_07 said:
