How long do you want to ignore this user?
Hey there! I know this could go a lot of places but I've recently just kind of gotten back into the game after about 5 years of playing once a year. Looking at my bag, I know you don't "need" em but I'd like to take a look at some new(used) irons.

I currently have the Mizuno Mx-200's and while I have loved them, I'd like to pass those on down to my son and snag some new(used) ones. Ideally I'd like to stay in the 500-600 range.

Any recommendations? I've hit the JPX 919's as well as the Taylormade p-760's

I'm a mid handicap guy so no blades

Total side not, but I still play an FT-iz driver that someone on here gave me years ago, still love that thing!

Go get fitted, hit them all, go with the set that the numbers say you hit the best.

Looking at the used market for pricing reasons, I've been fitted twice and ik standard pretty much all the way around and I'll be throwing my current shafts in whatever I get. Would love the 923's!

He said $500-$600. An iron fitting, even pieced together, will cost way more.

The right answer is to get lessons with that money, THEN go get fitted and start going low

**Edited to add** I'm a big proponent of getting fitted, but this person is on a budget and presumably not where they want to be golf-wise. An iron fitting seems really out of place given the context.

I would scout eBay for the Ping G series irons (G400 and up). These irons are made for getting the ball up in the air and making it to the target. GREAT universal game improvement irons. They also have a notch carved out of the hosel/neck so they can be bent upright/flatter if you're body requires that.
