I would heavily encourage you to go with an OG skytrak over the MLM or even the Mevo if in a garage. Those radar units need a lot of space and can do weird things in garages. Skytrak is camera based and it reads chips well. I had one and liked it. OG skytrak are on sale for $900 new now or can be had used for around $700.

Haven't seen anything but the opposite. I have more than the required room between the screen and ball and ball to the rapsodo. I'll also have rubber flooring and a green moving blanket down.

I also have no interest in a gaming PC or third party apps to start out.

I use my Rapsodo in my garage and it has no issues. I'm not sure what he's referring to. I have 9 feet to my screen and 7 feet to my Rapsodo and I have at least 10 feet to spare. I also have no interest in a gaming PC or seeing every leaf on a tree. To me, E6 just looks too busy and distracting.

You don't need a gaming Pc with skytrak or even 3rd party apps or even E6 for sim rounds. They have course play and a great in house app that works on iPad. It's a one stop shop with Skytrak now.

I pulled the trigger on the Rapsodo MLM 2Pro. It's the same way. Just a tablet to run it and 30k+ courses with great updated graphics. Also cheaper and more accurate per the reviews I've seen. I have it charging and going through set up now. While some of you probably see it as a con, it's more simple interface is a pro for me with my 10 year old.

I'd like to get everything set up and test as a full Sim, but I'm not sure I can pull that off before Christmas without my kid noticing. So I'll probably open and set up everything individually and wait until Christmas eve or so to do the final all in setup for Christmas morning.

I was actually pleasantly surprised with the projector. It was TV quality and 120" size at 7 feet. Pretty dang cool.

The MLM is a good consumer launch monitor and probably the best in its segment. Definitely better than the Garmin R10 and the regular Mevo. The Uneekor's are different animal though and not really comparable. It's more comparable to the Bushnell Launch Pro, Skytrak+, and GC3. I really liked the Bushnell but the subscription fees kill it in comparison to the EML.

Just realized this a different thread and you were talking OG Skytrak. Ya MLM is probably a better deal than the OG Skytrak at this point for sure
