I know I am biased but Ryan Palmer seems like a great value at this price. He's been playing consistently well and is currently ranked 31st in the world. Maybe there is something in his game that doesn't translate well to ANGC that I am unaware of. Regardless, I will be cheering him on.

Really would like him to win one after his career and for us olds.

Masters.com has a free Fantasy Pick 'em contest. Not sure if there's a limit to the number of people in each league or not.

You pick 4 total players
- a First Timer
- a Past Champion
- an American player
- an International player
- tie breaker (number of total pars throughout the week by all players combined)

The scoring is Modified Stableford so it rewards picking aggressive players who make a lot of red numbers.

Anyway, this could be an option for on here so one person does not have to keep tabs on their own.

I'd be happy to create the league on there and share the link if people want to go that route. I already have another league created, it's quite simple.

I hate to say it but I think this is setting up for Spieth victory lap. I think he's going to dominate. I've been on the "he's officially back" train for a full month and the last tournament more than confirmed it.

I can't believe Koepka is there after having surgery about a month ago on his knee.

Agree. I posted early into Saturday's round of the Valero that I think he wins this week. AN really suits his game and his game has really come on strong. And in spite of how much as he's struggled the past few years with his game, his showings at AN were still pretty steady. I like Westwood as a value play because Spieth's odds greatly improved, but Spieth is my overall pick to win

Bunk usually does this. I sent him the google sheet and submission form. Bet you'll see a thread pop up soon.

Morikawa also a great value IMO. That dude's game is so well-rounded, I think he's going to contend there several times in his career.

I like Marikawa too. I feel like he needs one more Masters under his belt before he wins there, but he could do it this year

Anyone know if we finally get a full reset on the lottery this summer for 2022 tickets?

It seems like for this one, they picked some limited 2020 ticketholders to attend and they mentioned refunding the rest. So by refunds, I'm assuming that means the rest of the 2020 lottery winners are SOL, but I wasn't sure if those folks still had the option between a refund or rolling to 2022, which would then greatly cut down on what will be available in the 2022 lottery because no sane person will just take the refund.

Yeah man I am afraid you're right. He's been playing really well lately and has good history at Augusta.

Also when he won in 2015 it was on a wet course and there's rain in the forecast Thurs-Sun.

I'm not a big Spieth fan but also not a huge Spieth hater.

What I DO hate is a crappy boring Masters, so regardless of who wins it I just hope it's exciting.

Augusta National Ticketing Update

Earlier this week, Chairman Fred Ridley announced that Augusta National Golf Club intends to conduct the 85th Masters Tournament as scheduled from April 5-11, 2021, with limited attendance. The Tournament will be conducted with similar health and safety standards previously instituted in November 2020. With these protocols in place, efforts are being made to include a small number of patrons, provided it can be done so safely.

We regret to inform you that your ticket application was not among those selected for use during the 2021 Masters Tournament. Ticket holders who purchased tickets from Augusta National will receive a refund from their original purchase.

Ticket holders will also be given the opportunity to purchase the same tickets for the 2022 Masters Tournament. To claim 2022 tickets, you must complete a 2022 ticket application at Masters.com during the application period of June 1-21, 2021. Ticket holders will be notified of their 2022 ticket selection and then must make a payment during the designated payment period.

I did this pool last year, it's pretty cool. You pick players from each tier, compete on best combined score. The biggest issue I have with it is that it is really dependent on how many guys you get that make the cut.

So it looks like they'll be able to get the same ticket, and as a result, it's going to be the 2023 Masters lottery before things get back to normal as far as someone's already small chance of winning not being infinitesimally small.

At this point you're just gonna have to fork over the cash to go. It's getting harder and harder until AN cracks down on resellers.

Yeah. Just to be clear, I somehow managed to win Monday one year and Tuesday the next (17 and 18). Not sure how that happened, but lightning struck.

He has three qualifications:
- Qualified for previous Tour Championship
- End of year OWGR
- Current OWGR

Hope he has a great tournament.

Best week of the year! Morikawa is a great bet as he's killer with his irons. Spieth should be a contender because A. he's always good at AN B. he's playing really well this season. I don't expect Bryson to contend. His putting is terrible without the greens book.

Can't wait for Thursday!

Anybody catch any of the player press conferences this morning on golf channel?

So I caught Brison's...

Starts with four or five standard questions about his game and the tourney...relevant stuff

Then a women hits him with the inclusion, diversity and bad Georgia crap. He did a good job with more or less a canned response and we moved on, or so I thought...

A couple more questions about golf, then here comes another question from a female, don't know if it was the same one or different, but along the same lines as the first, but had a more "how do you justify playing in Georgia" tone to it. He stuck to the canned response, but was a little shorter about it this time.

I know they have a lot of considerations in play, but I wish he or somebody would simply say:

--Ma'am I'm here to play golf
--I try to live by the golden rule and don't have a racist bone in my body
--the PGA and ANGC have done more for underserved youth than BLM and Stacy Abrahms ever will

Noticed that as well. Cant even watch a pre masters press conference without woke culture attacking. He did a good job of answering and moving on. I couldn't help notice it was the only two women's questions.
