Final verdict: Superstroke s tech feels very similar to the golf pride tour velvets, but I think I prefer these because of the cost and color options

I am in the process of installing some Golf Pride Pro Only full chord grips on my '78 Hogan Apex irons. And it is a pain. The 77 and 78 Apex's came with Legend shafts which were thin-walled, big bore shafts.... with a big ole butt. I'm talking 0.70" butt and the grips are 0.62". I had to buy a Taylormade Bubble grip installation tool just to get them started. Only other option was to put TM Bubble grips on them ..... and that would be borderline sacrilege.

I play Winn Dri Tacs. I ordered them with my new clubs. I at first told them the stock PXG grips. They said it makes a huge difference if you switch your grip on custom clubs. Who knew.

Standard MCC Aligns. Idk how anyone could ever not like these unless you manipulate the face a ton or constantly tinker with your driver.

I got these put on earlier this year and like their feel. However, I don't understand the point of the Align line that goes straight down the grip being on the back of the grip, club. When I bought them I assumed it would be on the front and help you realize your club is perfectly square. But it's on the back, so what is the point of having it? And why name your grip after something the player will never see or use?

I like them but thought that was weird.

I'm about to put the SuperStroke S Tech grip on my irons. Anyone never tried them out?
Been thinking about these. If you get them give us a review.

Will do. Going to just try it out on a few irons before taking the deep dive.
I put them on a year or two ago and have been happy with them. Pretty grippy.

Because I fit the groves up my hands/fingers up with it. There are baseball bats (Axe bats) with the same concept. I have seen people install them upside down for the reason you described.
