Is StubHub or Ebay my best bet at this point? Would it be better to just show up at the course next week and try to find a reasonable priced ticket? Preference would be a Friday ticket, but that may be a stretch at this point.

I've always heard that scalping is a better option as far as price goes, but personally I'd be too nervous.

I would be nervous about flying out there only to find ticket prices way outside of my range.

stubhub is always the most expensive until the last minute...
ebay is an option, but you have to worry about getting them in hand.
augusta (town) will be crawling with scalpers. they're on every corner of Washington road.
if you don't care about how much you pay - just get there and shop the scalpers. i'd start on Washington road or Berkman drive.

the other option is to hang out in the parking lots and ask people as they're leaving. a lot of work, but there's always people there asking me if i'll sell my badge as I leave the property and cross berkman to the parking areas every day...

Definitely worried about price. Just saw Wednesday tickets go for a little over 1,000 on Ebay. Too much, especially when you throw in airfare, hotel, and rental car.

killer, I did read some Yahoo article that ticket prices have have dropped since the announcement, but I dont know that for sure.
