The fiancé and I will be there Saturday or Sunday
I'm not, but I've got two friends that are heading that way for Saturday and Sunday. I've played the Oaks course and it's beautiful. If I ever went, I'd hang out at the green that #2 and #7 share.
Heading over with 3 sons for the Saturday round. The single day hospitality passes are a good buy.

Wish I could go, but we are expecting our baby any day now. Good field and should be some great golf.

That baby's coming with or without you. The 2014 Valero Texas Open only happens once. You have a whole lifetime to pay attention to your children. You know what your priority is.

How much would you want for them? I'm trying figure out if I can possibly meet my friends for Saturdays round and might be able to take one.
They were free to me so they'd be free to you. We'll most likely have 2 left over but I probably won't know 100% till Thursday
That works out great because I won't know my weekend schedule until later in the week anyways. Just let me know and either way I appreciate it.
Just found out today that one of my old high school teammates qualified for the tourney! He graduated from UTA last year and shot -7 under in the qualifier yesterday at Comanche Trace to make it.
His dreams of making it came true. So cool. Keep an eye out for him. Hunter Brown is his name. He is Zach Johnson'esque and is a solid guy.

Played the Oaks course a couple of weeks ago. The course was obviously is awesome shape.

Spieth blowed up right out of the gate. +6 thru 8.
Looks like the course is still playing tough this year. It's early but even par gets you T16 right now. I'm guessing -10 or thereabouts wins it unless rain softens things up a little.

Me +4 on Saturday and Sunday. Went last year and really enjoyed it.
If they wanted, that course could very easily require E on Sunday to win. Very easily.
Agreed. They don't even try to push the tees all of the way back either.
Played it twice and hated it. Very difficult, yes, but hate the layout. Most of the par 4 and 5's look the same with mesquite trees on either side of the straight fairways...

I've played it 5 times. It is brutal from the next to back tees. Brutal. And so true, if they wanted EVEN to win the event, they could push the tees back and tuck the pins.
Not sure on parking, check out the website. Either be bussed in from off site or have a pass to park close.
Just did. Park and ride from Chase at 281 & Stone Oak looks good.
