Troy - I don't have a quote for you (of course, yours has no source), but I read the Daily Tennessean a lot online last season. They started out simplifying but said he absorbed it so fast they kept adding more and more until they ran out. If you watched his games - I did when I could by going to a sports bar because the TexAnnes stunk so bad I couldn't watch - you would realize that he wasn't running some high school offense. He went through his progressions, moved people around, and executed. As TSA says, let's wait and watch. I don't expect the Titans to do much next fall due to their miserable offseason, but I think Vince will have a great career.

I also heard Steve Czaben discussing the playbook problems.

Okay, but they were praising the coaches for adapting to him. He also adapted to the coaches. None of them were predicting doom and gloom for Vince's career. Only Aggies are still doing that. And you've been doing it since he came out of Madison High School.

Moral victory noted ags. All this time I didn't realize VY would supposed to be trying to become Einstein. I thought he was supposed to become 30-2 as a college starter, whip the ags every time he played them, win a Big 12 championship, win a National Championship, be a Heisman contender, become a top 3 draft pick, win NFL rookie of the year, and have more money than he knows what to do with. Doing all this with the utmost of class. You're right, I guess his interviewing skills are going to hold back his career.

His interviewing skills are indicative of his mental capacity. Without a solid mental capacity and the ability to audible from reading coverages, coupled with a simplified playbook, his career may be short lived indeed.

At least he could be a broadcaster when he's done.

The Spurs are just another team to the Mavs now, as is everybody. The Mavericks are far and away the best team in basketball this year, and the gap hasnt been this wide since the days of the Jordan Bulls.

No one in the East has a prayer this year

San Antonio and Phoenix are the only teams in the Mavs stratossphere, and Dallas is 4-1 against them this year, including 3-0 on the road.

Perhaps you ags are the ones with a low mental capacity. When are y'all going to let it go? Y'all have been spewing this "Radio" garbage since VY was in hs. All he has done with his so called "low mental capacity" is become one of the greatest collegiate QBs of all time and the best rookie in the NFL in his only season. All he has ever done has been an incredible football player at every level he has been at. If his career is cut short, I am sure that 50 million he has will make retirement manageable.

I heard the interview. He wasn't unintelligible and I can't remember the last time I heard an interview with an athlete where they DIDN'T overuse cliches. "I mean" (your boy McNeal says that one a lot), "you know", "you know what I'm saying," etc.
