back in 2002, the TexAgs moderators went on a rampage and banned most of the Longhorn posters. I never got a warning. Arrogant Sip lasted about a week after the demise of RxLonghorn during that same time frame.

Preface: I realize it's an aggie sponsored site, so I expect ags would get more leeway.

But I'm just wondering if you ags know just how much more leeway you get than the rest of us? I even got warned for misspelling Kyle Field. I get complacent and lured into fighting fire with fire...then I get a beat down from staff.

I was registered for about a week, and when I logged on one day it said I had ben banned. I didn't receive a warning. I don't even think I had posted anything yet! Some other Raider must have said something to get us all in trouble!

I have had the same one the whole time.

Frankly, it amazes me that so many of you guys show up here knowing the clearly-stated and understood rules of the site. It's either a testament to the resiliency of the human spirit, or an indication of the depth of y'all's respective chemical imbalances, or maybe you guys are just masochists.

I've gotten in trouble so many times, I ain't listening to the whole "you get more leeway than me" argument.

And all of mine were well deserved.

Never been banned, but have gotten several warnings.

Last week, I was warned for calling VY "Radio". Apparently, only Ags are allowed to do that here.

Never been so much as warned. However, as of two hours ago, I can no longer say that about Hornfans. Got my first warning. Made a bet with an Aggie (it was his idea). Although they are strict about no betting, I thought it would be okay because we were both going to pay $250.00 to a scholarship fund regardless of the outcome. The only difference is if I won the bet it would be a UT fund. If he won then A&M fund. I guess there are no charitable exceptions.

Still me- Banned 25 hours for starting 25 different random threads

Probably got the axe around the same time as RxLonhorn, it was a major Longhorn bloodletting for a while around here. It was the waning days of RC's regime and I mde some comments about how much I hoped he stayed...on the Football board...within 3 weeks of signing day. Can't say I was surprised, but there was no warning or explaination(not that I needed one), and no recourse.

For you newbie non-ags, the staff has gotten much more lenient and give you ample warning these days. They'll even respond when you ask for clarification on why something got deleted. Way back when they didn't delete posts, they deleted you. If you get banned now, you had it coming.

The only rule that is applied evenly is "We can ban you for no reason whatsoever." Every time Texas wins I have to try and post just to see if some disgruntled staffer went through and issue a blanket ban on every 'Horn user he can find.

Sometimes I think that it is to the point that only people with Ag tags are safe posting on the A&M Football forum.

So, being a tard or tsip on Texags sucks more than being a tard or tsip in real life?

Maybe this will help. It's called the Golden Server Rule -- he who has the gold (or the server) rules.
