This is my first and last post on this topic because Lance's former wife is someone I know well and through her I know Lance. In agreement with others who do NOT know him personally, Lance IS really that big of a jerk. I haven't met many other people, famous or not, whom I'd rather spend less time with. I would say the blame for their divorce is quite equal and I won't elaborate.

I'm a diehard Ag, but many Ags still loved RC even though he had his secretary bent over his desk half the time. If you want to dog on a sip, why not Russell Erxleben, former sip all american kicker who defrauded tens of millions from his investors in Austin Forex and should spend the rest of his life behind bars (yes, I have a personal grudge in that one).

One a side note: I may not think too much of LA as a man, but as an American who cornholes the whole frog nation, I admit I love the fcuk outta that.

Not positive, but someone told me Lance said he was his own god and is a pronounced atheist who credited science and to his beating cancer.

So I've heard he's an atheist too for what's it's worth. Or was that already established.

KEY NOTE (maybe I should have put it in bold for you):
1. Lance claims he's his "own god", and I thought I'd heard other sources say he is an atheist.
2. Some people on here disliked Lance because they had also heard he was an atheist but no one was sure.
3. I made MY post to submit that I too had heard he was an atheist, simply stating the side of the matter I had heard of.
4. Science was mentioned (A for effort), but it was obvious the point of the post was that Lance referred to himself as his "own god" and credits himself with his cancer victory and not a higher being.

Now for science to work on that cure for morons that will greatly benefit you.

Man, I even said "pronounced atheist" in my post now that I look at it.

Good God, say you don't care for Lance Armstrong and those in the bicylce world man crush have quite a hissy fit.

I don't give a rats ass about his marriage or his personal issues, non of my business.

So he survived cancer, that's great, but so did my mom, twice. No one cries for the millions of other people afflicted with it, only the rich and famous ones.

He comes off as sort of an arrogant liberal *****, that's my issue. I saw an interview with him in 2003 when he was asked about how the french were treating him in light of the tensions between the frogs and the US. His answer was something to the effect of - I'm sure to tell people here that just because I'm from America doesn't mean I support what we are doing -
