Think of it this way……UH has a new coach. We are rebuilding. Kind of like Sark with Washington/Kansas and Notre Dame/App State.
the 2 cities' cultures transcends mayorships. but maybe this year the cincy mayor gets a hj from whitmire, something commensurate.
Well, he won't have to far to find one, probably right outside his office.
Obviously anyone can be mayor of Houston, no one will know the difference.

Considering we are 3-1 with a narrow loss to a top-20 ranked team and tied for first in the SEC compared to 1-3, tied for last in the Big 12, and with two blowout losses to unranked opponents..... I'd say we have plenty of room to talk smack on Houston right now

All of those additions must have really been upgrades because original Big 12 teams like Baylol, Tortilla Tech and Okie Lite are looking up in the standings at BYU, Utah, and Cincy.

All the other Texas teams won. It was a great Saturday. Loved watching free shoes U get smacked around in Dallas.
Shoutout to Tech. If they had any kind of pass rush they'd be good. they're gonna have to outscore everybody cause they're not stopping anybody. Brooks is a running back's running back. McGuire did his best game-day coaching ever against Cincy. maybe he can get the team to play on the road.

There was absolutely no reason for the Big XII to add UCF and Houston. None. Outside of Briles and Herman, UH has made one horrendous hire after another since Yeoman. Now they have asked a 64 year old guy to "rebuild" a program that has been third tier for 40 years, a few seasons aside.Aggball2010 said:

Financially, the school is a mess. Students want to reduce the student fee and support going to Athletics. Can't generate any revenue. It's a totally hopeless existence. Terrible move by Big XII.
