Financially, the school is a mess. Students want to reduce the student fee and support going to Athletics. Can't generate any revenue. It's a totally hopeless existence. Terrible move by Big XII.
Willie Fritz is a great coach he has won National Championships at Blinn and Sam Houston State. For Cougar High this was a HR hire to steal him from Tulane. He is a winner who does not have a losing record at any school If he can't turn them around I don't know who can. Outside of their basketball program, you're completely right. And it's not like basketball pays the bills.
