They are down to their 4th string RB and lost Sweat on D. When they play a team with a pulse lets see how the run D holds up without Sweat in the middle.

UGA will be a good test of that and Arch or Ewers. Its early who cares there is a playoff now regardless of their schedule. We need to focus on improving every game.

Looking objectively, texas looks like the #1 team right now. There is a lot of football between now and the playoffs. I think they make the playoffs where anything can happen. Tenn, Miami, Bama all look good right now.

Texas will drop 1 or 2. They're good but far from polished and I don't see them suddenly becoming all-world in the areas where they are lacking.

I thought every game in the SEC SEC SEC just means more, because all of the teams are more physical, and beat each other up on a weekly basis, and wear each other down, and so on and so on ad nauseam.

A 22 point victory over one of the SEC teams that regularly embarrasses the Ags- a la Texas Tech- is being "exposed"? For some reason- and it may just be me- but it sure seams like the goalposts keep moving.

MS State is dead last in the SEC. Vanderbilt is better and on your schedule too. You'll still find a way to **** the bed.

It just means more is just a slogan concocted for people to to think the SEC has more than its 2 top teams to compete for the NC. Yeah an Auburn, Fla, Tenn or LSU may jump up on occasions and win an NC but mostly it's just Bama & Ga that it means more too.

The thing was the SEC was already top heavy with Bama, Ga, Tenn, LSU, Fla, Auburn even A&M & Mizzou. Now with OU & tu it's completely bloated at the top. Teams that can not only beat you but wear you down or tear you up. Even ARK, Ol Miss, Miss state, UK, & Vandy are no slouch.

The bottom third of the SEC can beat you and even a win against them can knock you off the number 1 spot or even drop you down a notch or two. It's not much different than the Big12 except that you are dealing with mainly state schools and not a couple of in-state private schools without a big following. It's a tough row to hoe and then at the end of it all you get a conference championship game. So buckle up buckaroo you are just one of 10 or 11 SEC teams clamoring for 3 to five of the playoff spots.
