2-3 is a bold statement, but its not unrealistic to think they will be competing in the playoffs for the national championship the next couple of years. Odds that they win 1 natty, is probably 50/50.

Yes, I think Texas should be ranked No. 1 because Georgia escaped Lexington with a narrow 13-12 win over Kentucky, who was coming off an embarrassing 31-6 home loss to South Carolina. Still, Georgia had a dominating second half to throttle Clemson 34-3 in Week 1. I think Georgia will lose one regular season game at Alabama on 9/28, but beat Texas in Austin on 10/19. I am predicting 11-1 (7-1 SEC) Texas vs 11-1 (7-1) Georgia in the SEC Championship Game.

I don't know that Arch is overrated "af" or not, but he did get offers from eight current SEC teams.

Texas is a better team this year than last but that doesn't mean they will not lose 3 games. I can see them losing to Ga and another game but almost all 2 loss SEC teams will make it to the playoffs.

Getting that Clemson Safety was huge.

Manning likely will be the better college QB b/c he is more mobile and looks to have a stronger arm albeit less accurate currently. Manning will definitely be the better pro player b/c Ewers is injury prone.

Scary but Next year is when texas will make another leap.

You're crazy. If there's one SEC team that's not going to catch Texas unready, it's Arkansas.

The difference between a Sarkisian team with a poor roster and rotten culture and this Sarkisian team will be on display.

The math says that Texas will likely drop an unexpected one almost every team does but it's very unlikely to be that one.
