Texas Tech will soon be part of the Mississippi River Rivalry, playing their football games against Cincinnati in Kansas City. Lubbock's about a ten-hour drive while Cincinnati's a niner.
I hear good things about that ballpark in Amarillo. I'd check it out if it weren't 10 hours away.Big 12-0 said:

It happens in college baseball that conference foes sometimes face each other in games that are not part of the league slate and hence don't count in the conference standings. Ole Miss and State face each other in a midweek game every year. Auburn and Bama have also be known to do so..BLSD said:
How is it a non-conference game?

tards are now in a five game losing skid.
I'm college baseball obsessed and as such will take note when one of the better programs of the last ten years or so hits a rough patch.Big 12-0 said:Obsession noted...jkag89 said:

Oh the irony. Tard lives on TexAgs a non-rivals site, begging for attention. Obsession noted super duper indeed!
Majestic, isn't it. A bit of trivia, but Steven Spielberg is so entranced by Texas Panhandle sunsets he filmed Indiana Jones and crew riding off into it for the Last Crusade!McInnis80 said:
I was in Amarillo that day. The weather man cooperated by filling the sky with plenty of red dirt thanks to that gentle 50 mph breeze. It did calm down some that evening for the game for one of those glorious Panhandle evenings...

What more could be said? When the Aggie's win a bowl game in football, make a deep run in the NCAA tourney in basketball, and have a Top 5 baseball team in the same year, we can talk further.
I saw what you did there. You thought you could slip in the "Power 4" comment as if it was a fact. There are five conferences in the Power 5, and that includes the Grande Doce!Maroon Dawn said:
So how many Power 4 conferences have offered a spot to such an incredible athletic department? Surely they wouldn't just leave it to rot in a CUSA 3.0 league if it's as amazing as you say?!
