The level of entitlement Baylor fans have is off the charts. They were extremely lucky even to be included in the original Big 12. Lucky the entire conference didn't fall apart during the last realignment. Lucky they didn't receive the death penalty under Briles. And yet, now they're just going to hand select their next stop? AYFKM?

It's going to be glorious when Rhule leaves. They were so smug about him not leaving a week or two ago.

Screw Baylor. The Briles and rape fiasco, the murder of Patrick Dennehy that was an attempted cover up, both men and women's basketball teams, cat-killing baseball players. Their fans suck, their students are churchy hypocrites, and Waco is awful. The fact that Baylor has an athletic department is an indictment to the current state of society. Add in their administration's behavior during the move to the SEC and the whole place can eat a big bag of dicks.
No chance in hell Baylor gets whacked by the NCAA with the death penalty.Quote:
They still might get the death penalty. A lot of people have forgotten that the NCAA investigation into them is still ongoing. They still might get the death penalty. A lot of people have forgotten that the NCAA investigation into them is still ongoing.

Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas State, and Tech all benefited heavily by the agreement to split Tier I & II evenly in the BDF. Our leaving led to that to mollify the other members over the LHN.
All four schools arguably invested those proceeds well and are more competitive against OU and Texas than they were previously. I'll stop right there because comparisons with other conferences dnt show quite the same progress and OU still is that much better...
Rhule is a damn good coach, I hope you realize that. Baylor is lucky to have him.TxFig said:Macarthur said:

Rhule was out-coached in the Sugar Bowl. I PRAY he stays there.

I like how they focused on Okie Lite not having this player or that player but never mentioned our best player on defense not playing.
At least the 1st page and a half never mentioned it. A 1st rounder

Rhule is a very good coach. Why isn't Kirby getting any NFL calls?TxFig said:Macarthur said:

Didn't Texas turn the SEC down due to their academic standards?
I would want ACC
That is absolutely correct.SunrayAg said:Yep. baylor owes its inclusion in the big 12 to the fact that Clayton Williams told an offensive joke.DM44 said:It wasn't luck that got Baylor into the Big 12, it was the Texas Legislature. When the SWC was blowing up, A&M and Sips were considering going their own ways. Lt Gov. Bob Bullock was a Texas Tech alum, Gov. Ann Richards was a Baylor Alum and several powerful Congressmen were too. Bullock had a lot of power back then. The politicians had a closed door meeting with college officials and at the end of that meeting - A&M, Sips, Baylor and Texas Tech were headed to the Big 12. The remainder of the SWC didn't have the political stroke in Austin to be included too.Hand Of God said:
