Fell asleep about 9:30, woke up at midnight, went to the store for cheep smokes & a cup of coffee. This is a great time to get some stuff done, no distractions by people nearby.

I don't particularly want to leave Texas, but an opportunity popped up a week ago to help a buddy fix up a 50 ft. boat and go float around somewhere for awhile. Not sure where we are going, my buddy retired two years ago like me,...he was going to the Caribbean, but has been floating around Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida having fun. I am thinking if it's the same, it could be a chance to go to a few road games.

Minor corrections: I don't have hemorrhoids - just everything else. I haven't had a smoke since 9/14/17 when they threatened to cut my right leg off if they couldn't roto-rooter an artery open. I retired over two years ago - most of my friends and my wife have been retired over ten years. She and I and another couple leave on a Caribbean cruise the last week in March when the real tax season crunch used to start for me.

I'm thankful I can still post on this site,as I know it brings joy to you, Puddy, and numerous others.

I tried some cheep cigars, they're ok I guess. Usually smoke Skydancer, made by an Indian tribe in Oklahoma, has tobacco and nicotine for my addiction. No other stuff. Cheep by standards (around $4.75 a pack), but still a waste of money. I've been warned so many times by so many people, I just need to do the cold turkey thing.

Your cruise sounds fun, I've never done one, and always wanted to. I enjoy the site, been around since before stack fell. Had two other user names I can't remember, but as I moved around the Lake Travis area back then, internet wasn't always available. I had a neighbor in '97 that was a software developer that showed me how to buy parts and build my desk top for cheep. He took off for sail boat living in San Francisco Bay and was never heard from again.

I am humbled more each day, on January 20th, it was the ten year anniversary of a blood clot going through my right optic nerve that should have killed me, so the doctors said. I just took it all in stride.

I've felt lucky all my life, just because of that BS. That made me leave waco right after high school.
