According to 247, you have 23 commitments and 12 are either 4 or 5 star with 4 of them being DBs.
I'd say you have 11 guys that are considered bread.
Your DB class is great, not as good at the one Texas took last year, but it's still great. What you don't have is a great QB or WR class, Nor do you have great linebackers.
Not much of a difference between where you end up and where Texas will end up.
aggies will have a better DB and Dline class.
Texas will have better QB, RB, WR, LB classes
Not much difference between OL, TE, and K/P.
Both will be trumped by the class Oklahoma is putting together.
Top 5 class this year will be: Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, Ohio State, and Oregon.

Hey i thought chosen one was a longhorn. Surely a longhorn would not log in to defend their "true rival" losing a top recruit. You would think a longhorn would be happy their rival OU lost a recruiting battle.

The donghorns are completely worthless as a program until their DL and OL recruiting improves. They shouldn't be talking any smack right now.
What I seem to remember is your coach trying desperately to get the Texas QB commitment to visit. Only after he realized it wasn't going to happen then he took his commitment from the Georgia kid.Heisenberg01 said:
So let me get this straight. A QB & WR from Georgia with UGA offers and a LB from PA with a Penn St offer are bread.
tu has 1 OL who is not as good as Green and then no one else. A TE who isn't the equivalent of Cupp. And you have no kicker committed. But all those are ties?
Oh and at the Elite 11, our QB was viewed as a rising recruit with a cannon arm, and tu's was exposed to have a noodle arm.
Thank you for confirming that you're an idiot, just like you have so many times before.

Green is a guard, not an Offensive tackle, both him and Tyler are ranked in the top 100. It's not too often in modern college football you see a 6'3 tackle. Don't forget that Perroni just put in a crystal ball for Shepherd to Texas. I'd take those two over Green any day of the week. Both will be Tackles on the next level. And both are ranked head and shoulders over anyone else you have committed on the offensive line.
Like I said, there isn't going to be much of a difference between either offensive line class.
Congrats on getting out of state guys, Texas has 7 of them, including: a Georgia DB with a Georgia offer; a Florida LB with a Florida offer; a California, LB and Safety with a USC offer; and a TE and WR from Arizona with a ASU offer.
Texas is going to fill out their class nicely, Texas will get Shepherd, Cine or Catalon, or both, Texas is still in on 4 other top linebackers they will likely get 1 or 2 of them. Texas will take two DTs, and both will be 4 or 5 star kids, not to mention they are still trying to flip Leal.
Where your class is virtually done, Texas is still going to take 11 more in this class. When it's all said and done, Texas will have more 4/5'star commits than you have.

Nothing wrong with Oline recruiting, nor Dline recruiting. Texas lost two oline recruiting battles of note, one to aggies and one to Stanford. Other than that, Texas has a commitment from the best OT in Texas and one on the way from the second best. Texas is also in on some top out of state guys.Carl Hungus said:
