This is another long thread about a very disturbed man who more than likely has a number of clinical diagnoses.

Who cares what the crazy man has to say

Legions of brain-dead meatheads on s**** hangers websites who once met someone who actually attended UTx. Oh, and an invisible "prominent" journalist who's going to show us all!

I'm not being critical of your thread. I've responded on some of the older threads myself. The guy is beyond irritating. However, for someone that we can now surmise has mental health issues he sure does get a lot of attention.

Let him cry in the wilderness.

Randolph Duke is a lot like the Unabomber. No one actually cares what either of them has to say, because we all recognize the flaws and gibberish in their manifestos. Instead it is simply curiosity as to the past circumstances in their lives which have led them to such hatred and envy of others that they interact with...

Still haven't decided whether I should laugh at the guy, or feel sorry for him.

nm. Not worth the argument.

1. I believe in a sequence of Big Bangs with lots of time in between them, like the period we're in right now.

2. I tried to PM you but you're not Premium or something.

3. Now, back to Randy's enlightening, ego-fueled, narcissistic, untruthful pile of horse ****.

Honest question. What is a legitimate, tangible accomplishment that Duke has achieved from all this work?

I've been hearing about this maniac for years, what does he have to show for it except a high word count?

Great point.

If he had spent more time paying attention to his wife, she wouldn't be letting an Aggie plow her box like that dude in his front yard in the DirecTv commercial.

So it is not weird to spend countless hours of research, harass lawyers of the Colts, drive all over Texas in search of the "truth" on a school's traditions that is not even supposed to be your real rival and you don't play anymore? That is strange? Are y'all sure?

And according to him, I am a moron? Weird

You are forgetting the years long "bet" with his nonexistent UMich friend that he could troll Aggies with his made-up stories about the 12th Man. The details of which were included in his announcement that Randolph Duke is dead, he will post no more because he won the "bet". A steak dinner at an expensive restaurant, IIRC.

The year is up for debate. (Doesn't matter, still cool photo)

It doesn't have a PR release from the University at the time explaining the origins though, so invalid.
It could probably be dated within a fairly short time period because of the buildings and lack thereof, the configuration of the stadium, placement of the baseball or softball field, etc.

Of all ironies, that's the greatest of all. He supposedly set out to prove the Aggies are obsessed, cult-like sycophants. In the end, he does nothing but illustrate his own obsession and singleminded nature. One might even say cult like

He's baaack! This time, he's on his soap box about Aggie rings and "Class of___" is determined. Manages to work Horace Carswell in there as well: (there were too many a-g-g-y references to edit)

quote:
In the Von Miller example, if he started school in the fall of '07 and even is he quit the next day, for the rest of his life, **** would consider him a lifelong member of the **** class of '11. If he had graduated early in 2010, **** would consider him a lifelong member of the **** class of '11. If he graduated late in 2016, **** would consider him a lifelong member of the **** class of '11. If he never graduated, **** would consider him a lifelong member of the **** class of '11. If he was enrolled at **** one day, left ****, transferred to TCU and graduated from TCU in 2011, **** would consider him a lifelong member of the **** class of '11. Whether the individual wants to claim their graduating class as opposed to the "**** declared" class in not an issue. At ****, people do what they are told and if the cult brands them to be in a certain class, they dutifully obey. Blind obedience is a terdition.

Now, just like E. King Gill was a nobody to the ****s and not the school's 12th Man when he graduated in 1924, if for some reason a graduate were to have some notable occurrence in their life (or even after their death) **** puts a retroactive claim as always having been cloaked in maroon glory, even when that isn't true. The fact the school didn't give two $#@!s about them between the time they graduated and the occurrence of the marketing opportunity if "conveniently not spoken of" by the school's administrators or by other ****. They do this as a marketing gimmick for their school. Any honor or respect due the individual is immaterial.

A similar situation would be how Scientology treats its members. They are only random, nameless members of the cult, but when they hit it big in Hollywood and can be a notable public face for the cult, their life story is rewritten, they become examples of how Scientology shaped their life starting at birth and are celebrated as great human beings.

For at least the better part of two decades after he graduated, E. King Gill wasn't recognized in any way by **** for his actions at the football game in 1922. No one cared. The extent of their 12th Man "tradition" was their band spelling out the phrase once every five years or so (something shown not to actually be connected with their school's actual terdition as they quit doing it years before the 1939 radio play that actually started their "terdition.")

Some time after the radio play was broadcast, they created the fraudulent story that Gill had all along been the most important student ever to have attended the school (something he repeatedly explains he certainly never was aware of until after the radio play when, as he says "the truth was bent a little.) when history shows E. Oscar Buck was actually the school's first "12th Man" in 1925.

Ditto Horace Carswell. No one at the school gave Carswell two thoughts after he left and they certainly didn't take time to congratulate him for being a great **** when he graduated from TCU in 1939. I'm not sure when retroactively he became a revered ****, but it never would have happened at all if he had not been awarded the Medal of Honor. Once that happened, Carswell retroactively became one of the greatest ****s of all time.

My mocking how **** retrocatively claims individuals to be "great **** alumni" got me ridiculed by **** when I pointed out the hypocrisy of how ****s who do notorious things or become criminals are declared by **** to never have been **** (such as last year's White Rock Lake incident), regardless of how long they were enrolled. Hence, the observation that their terdition of "bending the truth a little" is all about trying to wrap the school's history in either false glory, or the stolen glory of others.

At the very least, if someone rejects the terditions and culture of **** after one semester, starts over at another school and graduates from there; then after their death, evidence is shown that some of their last words were about how attended the other school was such a monumental positive impact on their life, it is beyond disingenuous and borders fraud for **** to claim them as one of the greatest ****s ever. Especially when the claim is highly discouraged by the individual's family and done by the school only for marketing purposes. The name and likeness of ever individual who enrolls at **** for at least one day does not become the property of the university in perpetuity.

lulz.

1939 radio show. That's his pivot point. While bashing dozens and dozens of "random sports writers" of the time, he bases everything on one radio show.

And just did a little research of my own. Despite what Randy says, Kyle Field funding is on "very, very sound" financial footing. And "anyone who says differently is lying, has an agenda, and is trying to publically damage Texas A&M". Source of the quotes remains confidential.

Oh and we have enough money to start on the track and softball stadiums.

Lmao at poor little Randy. Universities everywhere are proud of their connections to famous people. UT is widely known as one of the most self-promoting of the bunch when it comes to this practice. UT has always trumpeted its connections to lots of famous people who attended UT for a short while, and even to some who never attended UT at all.
Lol, remember how they latched onto Lance Armstrong as if he was Dkr's long lost burnt-orange son? Now they can't get far enough away from him.

As part of his dissertation on phony Medal of Honor claims by A&M (Carswell) he has does some research as to how many horn students were soldiers in WWI and WWII. And a thesis about how DKR Memorial Stadium was built as a tribute to all fallen soldiers from the state of Texas. (And a shot at our MSC.)
