Technically, Looch understands Ketch's point better than Ketch does. Ketch is incorrect in his units of measure. A likelihood of something happening is quantified as a probability. (More or less)

When you are asked "What % chance do you predict it will rain tomorrow?" If you answer, "8.5 out of 10"; then you fail the 3rd grade; and any meteorology interview. This is because you didn't answer with a percentage. A simple "following directions" issue for the 3rd grade, and basic communication skills for the job interview.

Furthermore, something can't actually happen a half time. So in a situation where you believe the probability is 85% (or on some idiotic 8.5 out of 10 on a "things that could happen 10 times for each unit" scale) the smallest expression for that is 17 in 20 times. But, people can't visualize 20 nearly as well as they can 10; or 100.

I suppose this also highlights which of the two Internet personalities graduated from a University of their choice.
