As they should, because it's easily the biggest home game for them, and they will need it for SOS. A&M doesn't need the game, but respects the tradition. texas needs the game, but can't accept A&M as an equal, so they choose pouting over tradition.

I'm not begging for anything. Conference affiliation isn't that important to me.

Wrong. A&M had no problem with texas getting their own network, Loftin has stated so. If the LHN was the last straw, A&M would have bolted last summer...because it was clear texas was going to get the network.

The problem wasn't the LHN itself. The problem was the limp-wristed leadership of the Big 12 allowing texas to go back on their word of one OOC game, and adding Big 12 games and high school content.

How many times does someone have to explain two very simple things to you?

1) The LHN, as it stands, is NOT the same as it was when we agreed to stay in the Big 12 last year. Texas wasn't forthcoming about the contents of the LHN. When we learned what it would actually contain, we...and EVERYONE ELSE..were pissed. In our case, we knew that we were dealing with a dishonest bully along with a Commissioner whose sole goal was pleasing that bully. The smart solution was to act on the SEC's previous interest in us. How you can't register this basic set of thoughts is absolutely unreal.

2) The fact that we're no longer in the same conference has ZERO bearing on us playing you. We're on your schedule from now until the end of time for Thanksgiving. We're leaving the date open. We've made that abundantly clear. Multiple other schools enjoy the exact same situation every year despite being in different conferences. You have the option to do the same, but are refusing to because you're pathetic and pissed off that we called your bluff and told you to stick it. You can't stand it, and this is your temper tantrum.

We, quite literally, don't give a ****.

Misinformed klannie retards thinking they can force their alternate burnt orange reality (where they're "king" and Father Aggie begs to play them) onto the rest of the world. Daddy promptly comes along and fact-smacks them with such destructive force that it penetrates their lumpy, thick domes and brings them back to reality.

Simply stated - we let it be known to the CFB world that we have no problem fisting the klannies every Thanksgiving. tu spitefully whimpers that Daddy is off to greener pastures and uses that as an excuse to avoid the annual beatdown.

The Big 12 Conference, not any particular school, the Big 12 Conference made a concious decision to limit the exposure of our student athletes to a level that was not market. Another conference, when asked by A&M officials, offered a better exposure level for obviously more money. So we made a deal.
