I may have said we split the south title(which we did) but I'm not sure. However the popular opinion on here was that it was meaningless if didn't win the tie breaker. I did not know the rule until late in the season. Mack did and lobbied the voters to put us ahead of OU. He also said he thought the rule should changed for the future to be more like the SEC's. Both of which I still agree with(though it would have made no difference this year).

I got nothing on the asterisk thing. That was just weak.

And no I have no bowl tickets to sell. Anyone who bought bowl tickets any time after the UCLA game is a sucker and deserves to get hosed on the resale.

In 1970 you were in the SWC which had no divisions(and only 8 teams). In fact we’ve only been in divisions since we joined the Big 12. So I assumed you meant the last time you finished last in the conference, which was 1970. The last time it happened to us was 1956. And it didn’t happen this year.

Last time I checked there were 12 teams in this conference(at least for a few more months) and we finished tied for tenth. Not impressive, but not last.
