While we are clearly not very talented in many units (at least not the starters), iso plays aren't the indication. We haven't had a real fullback since Ahmard Hall. Most of the time we just stick a DT back there.

The one where Gilbert bounces a pass off the moon was my favorite. I still laugh when I think about that one.

You don't need a fullback to run isolation.

You treat it like half a basketball court, and always go to your strong side. If you truly have better players, that will work.

OR trips Left and throw to the WR on the right. The point of isolation is a simple one on one matchup. If you have better players, you win.

A big reason why the yardage was even that close is because of the two turnovers on punt returns that kept our offense off the field. The Horns' 3.7 yards per rush looks mighty poor up against A&M's 6.6. And I don't think nearly 100 more passing yards is worth the two interceptions that came along for the ride.
