...Year 1 often involves issues with players under the old regime "buying in" to the new one? We had that issue in a big way under Fran. I know Bama had a big issue with it under Saban. Any issues with this that are known about?

Let me be the first to say that I like where this is headed.

we had issues with this under Sherm too....Goodson, Jovorskie, and others not beign 'in the boat'. not sayign its a given at tech. but there will more than likely be some guys that liked leach and dont want to play for someone other than the pirate. if there arent any of these issues then you will be very lucky

I heard some players were discontent with Tubs's hardcore all the time style, after having Leach's laid-backness.

i heard that the offense made the new Tight Ends sit at the opposite side of the locker room as a means to boycott the new offensive scheme brought on by the new coaches.

The Aggies have had two losing seasons in a row with Sherman. I hope this trend reverses quickly this year.

With Tech, 2008 was the historical zenith of the program. They will settle back in to a pattern of 8 win seasons. This will be similar to Tub's record at Auburn (minus the statistical oddity of their undefeated season).

Because I believe you're the first person who has ever thought of that. Ever. I'm positive it never even occurred to Tuberville.

I've read there at least a few players (one of which was notable) that are not exactly enjoying their time in the football program.

It wont make much difference. Tech will continue to get leftovers from the schools that get first pick and continue to average 8-4 seasons with wins in decent bowl games and losses in the good ones.

And players who are complete loonies wont last long.

Sammy I heard that too. Apparently there were a few transfer attempts, but admissions issues with the destination jucos kept them at Tceh.

Will Tuberville, with a roster stacked with lower-ranked recruiting classes than Sherman inherited, do better than 10-15 his first two seasons? I bet he does.
