You are insane and can't spell. I grew up with German Shepherds and they are tough, no doubt, but they are no where near a pit bull in a fight. There are certainly a few that can whip a pit bull, but all in all, the pit will win 95% of those confrontations.

I have a pit bull. I basically inherited it as part of a relationship. After growing up with labs (as hunting dogs) my entire life, the pit is easily the best dog I've ever had. And I absolutely hated everything about pit bulls until I met this one. I guess I got lucky.

What Muy said. My neighbor's pit bull was perfectly friendly too for a couple of years, but that didn't stop it from going for my throat one fine day. Good thing he had a good hold of the leash.

The sh*tty thing about them is that it isn't the owners these insane dogs end up mutilating, it's some innocent kid that just happens to be strolling by.

All dogs bite. However, pit bulls, rotweillers, and wolf-hybrids are the worst in this regard because of the original purpose of the breed and the type of damage they do.

Given that, I dont hate any of those breeds. I hate the ghetto MF'rs who decide to get these dogs because of the glorified violence status associated with them.

I'm not defending pit bulls. It seems like 70% of pit bulls I've met have some sort of 'thug' aspect about them no matter how socialized they are. I have met some that are completely even tempered, however that is rare.

Rottweilers were originally bred for herding and other work. My dad had a rottie and my sister currently has a rottie. They are calm, kind, goofy, and great natural watchdogs. Not sure wtf you're talking about there.

Every time I've seen a pitbull get in a scuffle at the park, their dumbass owners like to pet them and tell them it's ok for some reason, reinforcing their behavior. I've never had a pitbull attack me or my dog.

My white trash East Texas roommate in college had a Rott. Dumbass f'in dog for sure, but I never felt it would go off like the pit bulls I've known.

Oh, and to the parents of that little 10 yr. old waif of a girl that you send to the park to walk the family pit bull, I hope a fertilizer truck hit's that f'in dog, loses control and drives through your front door. If that dog ever gets away from that little girl and attacks MY kids, I'm taking it to you and your dog with my pistol grip Mossberg.
