On a serious note, what's with the heavy-ass LB's Tech is taking. This kid Dees and Hocutt aren't very tall but are pretty heavy. Where do you see them ending up?

10th defensive ranking with an SOS of 79

they had the 79th toughest schedule in the nation?

air tight logic, bra.

Hey Sam, where in that jello mold of a brain did you decipher that this was a DeRuyter vs Ruffin discussion?
I don't recall Ruffin even entering the equation.

DeRuyter also had a month to prepare for Houston.
Whereas Tech was just coming off a game at UT.
Kthxbye.

It just so happens that Air Force and Texas Tech and AFA played 2 common opponents in 2009. Lets take a look:
New Mexico:
AF gave up 13 points and 290 total yards of offense.
Tech gave 28 and 431 total yards of offense.
Houston:
AF gave up 20 points and 331 total yards of offense.
Tech gave up 29 points and 579 total yards of offense.
Tech gave up more yards and points than each of the teams averaged for 2009.
AFA held each of them below both averages.
In other words, Deruyter depants'ed Ruffin "I do more than Venables, Muschamp, and Pelini with less than New Hampshire State, Eastern Idaho, and Central Missouri" McNeal in BOTH instances.

doesnt surprise me that you think that logic actually applies here, pudster.
