I've seen on other threads that there are limited options for Jumbo loans these days. Has anyone had a recent/good experience with a Jumbo refi? Any recommendations?

Located in NE Tarrant Co. area
Loan around $600,000
LTV should be less than 80%
Should not have problems qualifying

I'd probably like a 30 year, but a 10 year ARM is intriguing if the rate is significantly lower (I would probably keep making the same payment that I'm paying right now with the excess going to principal).

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

with a jumbo of that size I would break it up into two liens, with the first lien at 510,400 for a conventional rate, and the rest in a second lien. The second will be a higher rate but obviously much smaller then the super low first lien. The blended rate, the rate between the two liens is what you would want to look at. This structure has the added advantage of being able to pay off the small second relatively quickly and then being left with only the first mortgage.

More capacity is coming back for jumbos. Might be patient if possible.
