Cabinets and fixtures are undoubtedly the almost 100 year old originals, but it'll all be in a landfill within a month or two I'm sure. There's got to be someplace this kind of stuff could go but it would take actual effort since it was probably built on site.

My mistake. Yeah, you are correct. Landfill in no time. Probably the same with the house I posted. That is such a unique house for the Houston suburbs. It's possible someone will live in it as-is, but I think the odds of that actually happening are slim. I have a friend who would buy it in a minute if he and his wife lived in Houston rather than VA.

No kidding. I'm not familiar with the area, but it looks like it's NOT nice. The house isn't nice, either. I don't see how it's $800k. Hell, I don't see how it's half that price.

Because you're a two mile bike ride from all the tech hubs in downtown austin.

That whole Caesar Chavez neighborhood is going to explode over the next 5 years. It won't stop until its all 3-4 story townhomes selling for 1.5-2.0 million.

That looks like somebody tried to combine a church retreat building with a place to live and ended up with about 1 3/8 houses. Might be cool when finished, but it'll take a LOT of cash to make that happen!

To me, that looks like they tried to make an ADA compliant bathroom. Its the only shower that is flat going into the wet area. It looks like its on the first floor as well. Either someone in the family used a wheelchair or they thought this was enough compliance to be open the public. I don't see a hand rail though. Maybe someone's parents are in transition to being less mobile.
