Actual answer - what we have here looks like another flipper trying to be cheap at the expense of making something functional. The giveaway besides Wh*re Island over there is the dishwasher not being next to the sink. Let's save a little by reusing the old as hell cabinets after we knock down that wall and hope nobody thinks too hard about the layout. That includes the fridge hole over there in the next county over.

I don't see any outlets on that island (thanks, San Antonio code inspectors!) so there goes the microwave hole or actual island theory. It looks like a worst of both worlds compromise. Too cheap to swap cabinets and deal with the windows... don't want to do an actual island because that actually costs something, so we'll make a not-an-island to get the inspector off our back but call it an is-an-island for the listing. The buyers will be too distracted by the greige paint everywhere and 98 cent subway tile to notice anyway.

seems to be about 3x the usual listing price for the normal puro SA listings you bring us. Is this overpriced or just in a much better part of town (sorry, I dont know san antonio well)?

Alamo Heights is the best school district in the city limits and the location is hard to beat.

We used to call it Alamo Whites growing up. It's been a market that in my opinion that is over heated but I don't see it coming back down anytime soon.

Outside of King William (immediately south of downtown along the Riverwalk) I don't think there's a higher price per square foot neighborhood in the metro area.(Off the top of my head at least)

Because they didn't want that counter top to actually be a functional counter. Hopefully they have a disposal in the middle of the long sink. Or else there is going to be a lot of food dropped in that sink to clog up the drain.

Or it is an awesomely designed food trough with easy rinse away action.

Okay...there have been some great entries on this thread. This may be my favorite so far! There is subtle brilliance in their selection of pics...with the desk being the best.

That tile job is definitely a contender for worst shower I've seen of the year!

Also, great job wall mounting the TV across the room from the cable jack and putting open shelves below the wall mount. Designed perfectly for the family who wants to see lots of cords lying around.

This one impresses the hell out of me. For the "pros just use a better camera" crowd, here's one where even an OLD phone would have taken a better picture 10 times out of 10. To blow out the windows and still have an interior that dark is quite an accomplishment.
