I feel like this house was posted on hwre a year or so ago. So either its back on the market, still on the market, or there are 2 houses with the same eclectic taste in tile and decor

edit: What's with all the stupid people removing the ceiling drywall and plaster? Are they trying to make an old house even less energy efficient, or do they just like bugs in the attic coming down to hang out in the living space?

I wouldn't be surprised if the drywall was installed with nails (like mine) and the sheets started falling off the ceiling (like mine) I also wouldn't be surprised if it never had any plaster or drywall. Just burlap and wallpaper.

There's probably no HVAC, and I don't see any window units to worry about efficiency.

They've gotta heat the place somehow and no drywall in the ceiling is going to make winters a whole lot worse. It was really something I noticed after seeing the 2nd or 3rd house like that.

Between this and your vanity with the barn door I can't help but think we've passed peak shiplap.
