So, asking this for a friend who is new to the home search process, but where are some good areas to live around Tomball/Northwest area of Houston? They will be working around this area and will be getting a realtor (she doesn't really know much about this part of Houston) but just trying to get an idea of what her budget can buy her and what areas she should focus on.

Wildwood at Northpointe, Canyon Gate at Northpointe, Inverness, Village Creek are all good neighborhoods in the Tomball area. If they need a realtor, have them shoot me an email. It is in my profile or mike at mikeschroederteamdotcom.

Longwood and Lakewood Forest are other good neighborhoods to consider.

Glennloch

Canyon gate at north pointe has a freeway running on two sides of it now. I wouldn't bet on it staying nice for long.

I'm moving to Gleannloch Farms this week. I'm hopeful it turns out well and the cluster that is 249 gets worked out.

Daughter and family live in Rosewood Hill. Seems older subdivision, but very family friendly.

I was drug to Laurie's Furniture store in Tomball last weekend and was just kind of driving around out there...ended up in a very wooded neighborhood called Waldenwood (I think...next to "Tomball Country Club"). Very nice!

I've lived here my whole life, most of the neighborhoods are nice and friendly, just depends on what you like. Some are old and there are a lot of new ones. 249 and spring cypress suck right now
