Country Roads… take me home, to the place where WE DONT HAVE TO FACE THIS WEST VIRGINIA DEFENSE!!!!!!! I am scared! This team has forced over 100 turnovers this season and is 9th in the country in steals with 18+ a game!

Granted their opponents have been Towson, Niagara, and Pitt. But they demolished them all, scoring 85, 100, and 82. They are led in scoring by guards #10 Jordan Harrison at 19.3 and #5 Sydney Shaw at 16.7, and #11 JJ Quinerly with 14.0. Harrison and Quinerly average 3.6 steals a game. They also have a lot of size with 5 girls 6'3 and over!

These girls are ranked for a reason and we haven't played any tough team so far, so this will be a challenge. They are ranked and have a home football game Saturday also so I expect a solid crowd. With the way they turn people over, we need to play clean smooth basketball, which has been hard this season. If we are careless, sloppy, this game can get ugly. They can score in batches so we need to stay disciplined on defense and SECURE REBOUNDS. This will be a huge test for us and I'm excited to see how we look! We are all aware of the issues and criticisms Joni and this team have faced, this a game where you turn that around! Or at least show you can lineup against anyone and fight!

I think them becoming more comfortable with each other is what is absolutely necessary! According to Joni they didn't get to do that much in the fall and it showed the first few games! Chemistry and familiarity is vital to a team!

Looking forward to tonight's game. Will be a good test to see how we match up with a ranked team. We definitely have a talented team and we got a glimpse of what they can be this past Sunday. Well, PNW, you hyped US up with your confidence early this season and then went dark:30 on us after the first abysmal loss. While I do agree we should show unwavering support (and for the most part here we are), I don't think it's unreasonable to expect results. We need to see some improvement...serious improvement in the SEC standings.
