Texas A&M (0-1) vs UTSA (0-0)

We got an am tip-off for our ladies tomorrow! 11am against UTSA, who hasn't had a game all year! They are coming off one of the best seasons in program history, and one of its only two conference winning seasons in program history. They are not a strong program historically but are trending in the right direction. They are led by their dynamic AND I MEAN DYNAMIC scorer Jordyn Jenkins who began her career at USC. She only played in 12 games last year but averaged 17 points. However in a full season in 2023 she was the conference USA player of the year averaging over 20 points a game including a 40 point performance. Other top returning players are guard #11 Sidney Love, forwards #20 Maya Linton and #25 Idara Udo. However they did add a lot of names to their roster including 2 six foot centers, one a bench player from Miss State and another a freshman from Germany.

Let's see how our girls bounce back after an absolutely embarrassing loss and home opener to A&M Corpus Christi. In game 1 our shooting was awful as was our defense. The lone bright spot was Jada Malone.

It'll also be elementary school day so expect loud kids! Hopefully we don't bore them with our play!

No problem, however the more I look into the other teams the more afraid I get, however we SHOULD be able to handle this game and come out with a win comfortably, but you never know lol

Observation: UTSA is a way better team than A&M-CC.

If we would have come out today and played like Monday night, we would have lost by 30 today.

How are we even struggling with these teams

UTSA's projected to finish 5th in the American

2nd quarter almost over and Jada Malone has only seen the ball like two times in the paint

Plenty of things we could do better, but way better intensity and defense.
