Too many turnovers

8-0 run for Vandy during turnover fest.

Vandy ball with a 2 point lead. 38 seconds to play.

Vandy misses. Gets the offensive rebound. We are slow to foul.

Vandy by 4 with 4 seconds to play.

10-0 Vandy run. Game pretty much over.

Really regrettable performance from the first half's offense to the collapse at the end.

Vandy first win against us since 97, 10-0 run, embarrassing

We have only been together with Vandy in the SEC since 2012.

Well they said 1997 on tv? Last Vandy win at reed could have been 1997. Maybe we haven't played them again until we joined the conference? Not even worth fact checking the tv commentators.

Taylor needs to work on her PG development because those backup PGs were clueless.
1) Many bad entry passes to the post
2) Forcing up bad shots
3) They never went back to the person in trouble and get the ball

A&M had a 6 point lead (45-39) with 3:36 to play.

After that:

0-3 FG's
and 4 turnovers

How many turnovers tonight on inbounds plays for us?

That's what I've been saying this entire season. We have gotten these transfers that have been great for us but it has definitely been at the expense of the developement of the returning players. Name any of the returning players that have gotten better this season. You won't win a lot of games like that in my opinion.

I hope Joni has a point guard in mind from the portal. We could use a couple.

Players getting a lot of deserved blame for poor play. Maybe the question should be why such poor play this time of year. I thought coaching and practice were to develop and improve players. That is not happening. Seems most players may be playing worse now than at start of the season. Very disappointing.

IDK - many of these mistakes are due to lack of experience in tight games from our underclassmen. This is why Rogers is so effective; she's a graduate transfer and has been through this. If she is out for an extended period of time it won't be great for our team but will for Green and Hylton to get minutes and get better in these situations. I'm a huge Hylton fan. Love the way she plays, but admittedly, she has to be better in the last minutes of the game. To have a 6 point lead with 4 minutes left and have 2-3 turnovers in a row is really unacceptable and I'm sure she knows it. Just very poor game management. The better teams will take away our strengths if they can (and packing the paint is exactly the way to do that). We are a poor shooting team most nights, and unfortunately. 5-10 free throws is just unacceptable. Elite teams don't miss free throws.

Coulibaly was really great.

Barker was really good too. She kept her head on straight and played super hard. It was a frustrating type game, but Janiah really showed maturity in just playing hard thru it all.

I agree, Barker seemed extremely dailed in and focused as well as mature.

Considering she's had a different guard coach every year the past 3 years, I'd say she needs consistency in that area more than anything

they beat us last year @ Vandy, I attended that game.

I'm a firm believer that you can't coach the soft out of a player at this stage of their career.
