Women's Basketball Set to Host Tennessee in Maroon Out Game

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas The Texas A&M women's basketball team will face off against Tennessee inside Reed Arena at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14.
The Aggies (13-3, 1-2 SEC) are looking to bounce back from a road loss against No. 7 LSU on Thursday. Texas A&M boasts one of the nation's top defenses, ranking No. 3 in in field goal percentage defense (32.4%) and No. 5 in scoring defense (51.3). The Maroon & White is also ranked No. 4 in the nation in rebounds per game (47.56).
Endyia Rogers has led the way for the Aggie offense during conference play, averaging 19.0 points per game in the three-game stretch. Rogers is also averaging 5.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists in those three games. Aicha Coulibaly has been the second leading scorer for the Aggies through league play, averaging 14.3 points per contest.
Tennessee (10-5, 3-0 SEC) is coming off an 88-81 victory over Florida on Thursday. The Lady Volunteers are ranked No. 11 in rebounds per game (45.9) and have a high-powered offense that is averaging 79.1 points per contest.
