I mean, I don't want to jinx us or look ahead, but can you imagine starting the year 12-1 going into conference play after the last few seasons we had? Can we get 8 conference wins is the question? Let's make some noise!

We should go 12-1 considering the remaining non conf opponents
and the games are at Reed. We have beaten two decent teams in Cal and KU,
and lost to a decent Purdue team. The rest of our wins are over matched opponents.
To our credit, we took care of biz in these games and seem to be improving.

The Lamar game tomorrow is surprisingly important and could really pay dividends down the line. As coach said today Lamar is picked to win their conference and thus make the tournament (Iowa City Bracket).

Passed that test, but this is what makes no sense to me. Lamar is predicted in the tournament because they are picked to win a weak league, and we are a bubble team that defeated them by 35 (and would have been more had we played the starters more).

More can be done!!! Though not sure the next three games will grab national attention, each is eminently winnable. Start conference 12-1!!!

Then onwards to place a siege on Athens!!!

Nancy Mulkey was also a GA last season- played ball at Rice. Speaking of returning, McKinzie Green is in the house with a staff tag- anyone know her new role?
