Rumors in October and recent headlines in the past few days say CHK and SWN are trying to merge.

Didn't realize until yesterday that CHK pays a very nice dividend. That perhaps evens out that SWN shareholders don't appear to be getting a premium. SWN's metrics are better in every respect except debt. Debt that was in part made by SWN overpaying CHK for SWApp 5ish yrs ago under previous SWN management team
