Yes. They even have a tutorial video in how to load all mount transactions. Read a few posts above. They also have 50% off for mint users ($50 a year).

I took the plunge and like it. With about 15 accounts to add and 18,000 transactions, it took me maybe 2 hours to get it all square.

Been on Mint since they started. Migrated 26k transactions first and just got done with account balance history. Much much better than Mint. Don't mind paying at all

Importing over 38k transactions today. I went through all the category and account mapping. It's been been spinning saying that it's wrapping everything up for about 10 min. Is that normal?

My batch of 26k or so took about 10 to 15 mins to process. Likely normal. Just walk away and come back

Did it finish up?

Nope. I took a walk and came back after an hour and it had timed out. I did it all again and it's been going for 30 min and not done.

Did you do it as one CSV? Mint limits you to 10k per download. I have my broken into 5 sheets. I combined into one larger CSV for 38k but it didn't work I'm going to try doing them 10k at a time.

Just bring in the last 15k or so. You don't need the rest.

Got them all in 5 uploads. I really value having long history with expenses. Playing with it all now.

I did combine into a single csv

Made the move to Credit Karma a few days ago.

The Net Worth interface isn't too bad on the CK app. It's pretty clean.

Pretty much the main two things I'm gonna miss are budget, and all the monthly trend charts. (Net income, etc.)

Between CK and Empower Personal Capital, I think I'm mostly covered. As long as I can see my monthly spending against my overall budget (as on PC), I'm good.

I've been working on syncing everything to Empower/Personal Capital today. Has gone smoothly with exception of one account from several years ago that I can't delete. I also added my bank, but it only pulled my checking account and not a property loan we have. Emailed support to hopefully get that resolved. My net worth looks really good without that loan factored in though.

Looks like they have lots of neat tools. I chose them over Monarch because I really don't want to pay a subscription for something like this, especially since I pretty much replicate everything in excel anyway.

Monarch money
I haven't read this whole thread but this looks like a good option

I've demo'd Monarch for the past month now and it works like I expect it to (how Mint should have worked).

It has some nice visualization tools to show where your money is going. I send them to my wife occasionally to show her why we're poor.

Love it. Thanks for the feedback. We're about to start offering it for free to clients.

They don't have as many categories as I used but that's ok - just had to combine a few budgets and we're off.
So they don't give you the ability to add your own categories?

they do I just like the ones with pictures that are already grouped. Not a big deal. My "own" categories on Mint were easily combined here.

The learning/rules function with Monarch is much better than Mint so once you set it, it's easy.

Simplifi has a 3 month trial that they'll extend to a 1 year trial if you import Mint data

Trying Simplifi today

Trying that as well. So far it looks okay. Free for the first year (when you import data from mint) and the regular price is cheaper than monarch.

Not sure I'm dying to use another Intuit product after they stripped, then killed Mint.

NM... Guess quicken isn't part of Intuit anymore.

I've been using simplifi for the past year because I was already looking for a mint replacement before the shut down. I don't love it but it's ok. I like the control over what transactions impact budgets and what can be hidden from them.

They moved the transition from mint to credit karma back to March 23, 2024.

I've been using simplifi for the past day or so and it seems to do everything I want it to. It basically has the same capabilities as mint but a little better UX. I was generally using mint to look at all my accounts in one place, checking how much we're spending each month, and high level net worth tracking. I didn't really use the budgeting tool much.

So officially done with mint and "migrated" to Credit Karma. (I downloaded all my transaction data first)

Honestly, It feels like had mint done a better job integrating a number of the credit karma features into mint, the freemium business model would have worked well. Through my transaction and linked account detail, you can already tell what my monthly car & life insurance costs, the interest rate on my debt, my monthly subscription costs, and general financial picture. Using this data, it should be fairly easy to push me ads like "we found a lower interest rate, refinance now" or "lower you life insurance costs". Or if there is a gap in my insurance, send me a note saying "hey, we noticed you don't have life/umbrella insurance, here are some recommendations".

The new Credit Karma net worth tracking isn't as good. I also can't figure out if there is a way to actually do budgeting or spending tracking with it or not. I see they are importing my transaction data, but I can't figure out what they actually do with it. If the only thing they use my transaction data to do is send me ads and not allow me to do any budgeting or spending analysis, I'll unlink my accounts.

A week into it, Simplifi still seems fine and does what I need it too.

Came to see where everybody landed. Nothing like waiting until the last minute. I'll try the free year of Simplifi.

I found this pretty good comparison chart (even if a little convoluted and I probably would have swapped the rows and columns) on reddit if anyone is still looking at options.

Good to see the transition has been pushed back a few months. Gives me a few more months to procrastinate figuring out what I'm going to do.

Just go to Monarch. I was up and running it about 2-3 hours

If anyone is thinking about transferring their info over to credit karma just to "check it out," I highly recommend against that. I wish I still had mint tracking in parallel to simplifi so I could compare and contrast.
