so going back to the original question early in the wk of is it time to sell ahead of the impending pullback towards the end of the wk in which we may lose up to 30%....of the gains on the week

I'm semi retired with time to pay attention to the market and usually have a very good feel about the ebbs and flows.

The market ebbs and flows. At least in normal times. we've been on a nice run of flow.

I think we're coming due for an ebb. Actually likely Thursday or Friday of this week. Investors have been on a buying frenzy lately.


If it doesn't go down, it could stay flat. And if it doesn't stay flat, it could go down. And if it doesn't go up, it could go down…



I really hope this is a joke post…

I guess I'm confused what you're celebrating/timing…..

This thread was started Tuesday at noon. The S&P 500 was at $4,360 then, when you said it's time to sell.

It's still $4,417 now.

Kind of irrelevant to me that it's down from a random peak that occurred days after you timed the ebbs and flows.

Yeah. Except you said that 6/13. And even with the recent drops, the market is still up compared to 6/13. So you'd be "nibbling" back in at a loss.

Pretty easy to play the markets slight up and downs perfectly when looking at the past…..
