That is exactly what drove me to seek out Bobby for work attire. Brooks Brothers changes the cut of their pants every year and Jos A. Banks only has slim/tapered or flat front pants these days.

Can you get a pair of custom, traditional fit pants with pleats at Jos A Bank?

I've purchased three sport coats and two dress shirts from Bobby and really like them, but was a bit surprised about the shirt fabric. I presumed that they would be cotton, but they were stretchy like Mizzen and Main, and more toward a slim cut. I'm not slim, so I guess that I need to bring this up with him next time.

With that said, Bobby is a great guy, no sales pitch or pressure.

He's got hundreds of fabrics and the books usually say what they are made of. He just writes down the fabric code as you pick them. I use those stretchy or shiny fabrics as liners for my shirts, never the outside fabric.

That's about it for me. A sport coat is just as nice for most of us, though I get the whole suit without a tie thing. In Texas, you can get away without a coat now in almost all settings and have been able to for many years. Nice slacks, shirt, and shoes will go far. Its too hot to wear a jacket 8 months out of the year, usually.
