If they direct deposited it, yep, write a check and send it back. The US government allows anyone to give money - in this case it's just that you don't feel those checks signify a fiscally sound decision by the government.

Counterpoint: Investing the money in the market will provide capital for private businesses to create much needed economic activity, jobs, and wealth, ultimately improving the lives of Americans.

If you send that money back, it's likely going to be spent funding a study about microaggressions in John Wayne movies.

You tell me what's the more fiscally sound decision for the country here.

I'm more curious now about what you do know in such finality and completeness that you do feel comfortable using.

Like how does a glass screen that I tap with my fingers project an image to millions dictating thoughts that come out of my head.
