I am as lost as the next guy on crypto currency. My buddy tells me this XRP will replace BTC. I bought some so it will probably drop like a rock.

I am still high on BTC but nothing beats the good ol stock market.

There's alot to wade through and dynamics change incredibly fast in crypto.

Let me start by saying XRP will NOT replace Bitcoin.

BTC is the King and will forever be so.

Now that doesn't make others not have value in some manner or way. But remember everyone telling you to buy XYZ has a bag of XYZ and is only concerned with pumping their own bags.

This is a peer to peer market. It's pure speculation ontop of speculation. I've been doing this for five years. Which in crypto terms is like a life time. Others have been in longer. But the thing I always remind myself are these:


DO NOT FOMO.
DO NOT PANIC SELL.
DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH.
DO NOT EVER BECOME SOMEONES EXIT LIQUIDITY.

most likely they were talking about how it has no proof of work and no fixed supply, I seriously doubt they said anything about underlying business or revenue.

What makes BTC unique is proof of work and a fixed supply, this coupled with the inventor mining a million coins and then never being heard from again is what has essentially given it a cult following.
