Would be nice. Problem that everyone has faced or would face in that situation is once your one penny os worth a 1,000 bucks you're selling.

Cool starry bra...

10 DOGE years ago, wow, much time, very ago(2014-2015).

I was mining DOGE, tipping/receiving DOGE on reddit, helping pay for the DOGE NASCAR, and most importantly getting the Jamaican bobsled team to the Olympics(for 35 BTC ~$30k)!

DOGE was worth a WHOPPING ~$0.0001-$0.0015 during this time. Anyway, at my height of HODLing DOGE, I had 660,000+ DOGE. At some point, I am guessing I sent it all to a exchange and swapped for another coin(s). 660,000 back then was worth ~$1000. 660,000 now... ~$264,000. Oh what could have been.

The only reason I was able to trace all this down about my wallet is that I actually found my wallet.dat on an old HDD recently and was able to guess the password I used back then to get into the wallet. I still had about 1000 DOGE in that wallet and so I downloaded the DOGE blockchain and cashed out about $400. I tried to figure out where I had sent the DOGE, but the wallet I sent it to was a dead end. Probably a hot wallet at whatever CEX I sent it to. So many CEXs have disappeared since 2015 that I probably can't find it anyway.

I'm wondering if DeFI comes back really strong. Gary handler and his bogus lawsuit really crushed defi. Everything had to be DAO. With a new SEC head I suspect alot of those tokens can turn on profit sharing. Like aave, uniswap, compound etc.

Feels like market is sleeping on DeFi but I suspect it'll be the a winner

Aave like I mentioned and link i mentioned the page earlier. DeFi going to eat this cycle.

Defi comeback would make a lot of sense. It's honestly one of the only actual utilities for crypto people can comprehend.

I'm gonna take a spot in AAVE, INJ, and YFI

I've been looking for an aave equivalent on solana. I haven't found one. If anyone is aware of one please share it

Think that's a separate layer 1 If I'm not mistaken. Looking for a lending protocol on solana.

Be careful with Sol. You know why. VC backed, regular down time, 60% of transactions are bots, security risks, and they will need lots of help with regulatory compliance because of all that, being
centralized, and their tokenomics.

any unchained users here?

as this thing goes parabolic I am considering using a service like this to help secure cold wallets.

Maybe. Maybe not. Timing of pattern around halving is incredibly important to factor. Another consideration is that pattern was right around the ETF. Which produced massive sell off from grayscale.

Time will tell. You could be right. You trading that hypothesis?

I've seen that fractal a lot and could very well be right. I'm targeting $115 on this move before I start selling spot / calls

No, but if we get it, I will be going in heavy under $90k.

Couldnt you make the argument that the pattern just before the one you have boxed in 2024 is also very similar?

Maybe. But that was shortly after a low. The one earlier this year was the mid point between a low and a high so is much more applicable to where we are now. The pattern is called an expanded flat and happens when the middle stages of a correction make new highs and then come back down to previous lows or slightly lower. This happens in the final correction before the rip to a top. If we get $88k area and it holds, it's pointing to a next high around $150k, and potentially happening over a matter of months.

Seems freaking crazy to jump through these kinda hoops especially if you already have coins in cold storage.

Not even sure how you could trust to bring in a 3rd party to begin with.

I don't disagree but i would argue the bigger that $$ amount gets the more appealing it gets. If people are sitting around with several million dollars in BTC on a cold wallet in their house, that gets pretty sketch.

My understanding is that unchained does not have access to your keys, but rather think of it as a vault inside of another vault.
Fightin2010

You do not have to trust them. It is just multi-sig whereas to access your coins or move them there must be two "keys" turned at the same time. You hold two keys and they hold one. They can never move your Bitcoin with their one key. But in the event where one of your keys is stolen or destroyed you can call them to utilize the third key.

ETA: I was losing sleep while away on vacation knowing someone could break in to my house and steal my one access point or that my house might burn down. In this case if that happens I just go get my other key and call up Unchained.

Fightin2010

This is also why it's essential to separate your two keys by location.
TxAG#2011

That's why you use a bank safety deposit box.

Still crazy risk to introduce a third party. What if they go out of business? Somehow lose the key? Data breach? Someone could hold your keys for ransom.

Absolutely not.
Yukon Cornelius

So where you keep the second key? Hypothetically
Yukon Cornelius

Isn't a safety deposit box similar. Introducing a third party? I spoke to a couple of banks who are closing their safety deposit box services.
Fightin2010
How long do you want to ignore this user?
AG
If they go out of business or there's a data breach, you can still immediately access your coins using your two keys without using their website or their key. I had all your same concerns until I researched and understood how multi-sig works.

I will say beware of scammers if you use a service like this. Gotten some fake "unchained" emails.

I'm 5x on HYPE. Realistically this could turn out to be a serious competitor to Solana towards the end of the cycle. It should already be priced the same as Sui, at least, so very under valued from a fundamental perspective.

Worth a look.
