Because people are irrational actors.

But seriously, we went 34%+ up in a week+...

Accumulation phase has ended, in some opinion. Supply is thin. Meanwhile supply of fiat is infinite and growing.

Gonna be fun, whatever happens.

Proof of stake is more secure as folks have something to lose. It also faster, greener, and less expensive. It is also an efficient method for decentralization as long as specific parameters are set, like pool size to limit validator influence.
PSA: There are contrary opinions to this thought process. Encourage you to do some research and decide for yourself which makes more sense.

Agreed, there are differing opinions.
However...The question was - proof of authority or proof of stake?
Again, as of now I prefer the Cardano method. I'm not saying it is without flaws but I would trust their system and method.

Proof-of-Authority based networks strongly lack decentralization.
PoA does not allow to build blockchain as protected from censorship and blacklisting as other consensus mechanisms allow.
The risk of damaging the reputation does not necessarily keeps a person from participating in malicious actions.

Does anyone know how to track your purchases in USD on Coinbase Pro?

I've made several orders recently and it shows me the BTC price, but not how much I paid in USD.

Going heavy cash in my trading account, only in Shib at the moment.

A whole lot of hype at the moment, a nuke seems about typical.

I believe you will have to log in CB pro on a laptop and generate a report.

Not financial advice but Shib is super dangerous. If I were you I would take profits while ahead and buy safer assest like BTC, ETH, SOL.

I disagree, with an impending Robinhood listing I have faith in a short-term mania.

Have plenty of Btc and Eth already though.

I concur...it is still a lotto play in my book but too many positive aspects coming out to dump now...holding half until we eat another zero...the rest holding until 2024/2025, if it makes it that l9ng.

If I'm ready to dip my toe into these waters, what's the best platform for a beginner? Coinbase? Kraken? etc.?

Also MintySwap is now available for LITH

MintySwap trading is now available for all> dex.mintyswap.com to trade for a fee less than UniSwap

Once original liquidity lock expires at end of month they will transition to LITx and be added to Tier 1 exchanges.

That token is so dumb I almost want to buy it just because of how dumb it sounds.

Katie, I hope you aren't too involved in that token, because there is a non-zero chance everyone involved get's arrested, and I'm not even kidding.

There's a reason most schemes like that are run by anonymous group overseas.

No offense but your head must have been in the sand for the last 6 months if you haven't seen her spamming the board about that coin.

I've seen it, but I didn't think anything of it until somebody I know on social media (who has no ties to crypto whatsoever) started spamming it also

There's a reason most schemes like that are run by anonymous group overseas. The people listed on the website are real and I actually know one of them.

Would be very interested in what you have to say on the matter, but also that's borderline defamation if not backed up.

That isn't borderline defamation and not even close to anything that could resemble "borderline defamation."

It's a dog**** pump and dump scam coin.

So no reason you believe that other than most tokens are overseas fakes, but the people on this ones site are real and you know one? Help me out here. I'm sincerely listening.

What's the lockup period for the founders tokens? What was the allocation? When was the ICO?

All available to review via Dex and audit report. You said you already KNOW this is a pump and dump, and know someone working on it. I asked you how you know, s why are you asking me these questions?

Also posted on this thread like 5 months ago when posters claimed the same thing.

I don't think it's a pump and dump coin. A company like Pantera wouldn't fund a pump and dump coin. I just believe there are other alts coins that are less risky and can provide 3x to 4x gains.

Just fyi...I'm referencing a different LITH. Lith financial came around 4 months after LITH token and copied the ticker.

That's why LITH token is changing over to LITx at end of Nov. That's why they finished the LLC in Wyoming so finance can't use it in US. Also LITH finance has nothing to do with lithium or esg.

Interesting! I never seen 2 crypto sharing the same trading symbol. I may have to take a deeper look into LITH finance.

Neither had I. I'm not saying finance isn't legit. I think they are, but I just know the overlap has been a pain in the butt at times.

I am reading the audit right now, and holy ****:

  • 100% of that liquidity is locked in a contract and will vest to the team on Tuesday, November 30th 2021.
  • There are 5 addresses (not including burn address) that each contain more $LITH than the amount that is in liquidity.
  • 40% of the total $LITH supply was burned upon deployment. At the time of writing this report, 41.17% of the total supply has been burned.
Audit Findings Summary
  • In its current state, the token allocation is considered unhealthy, as there are several $LITH holders that own more than the amount that is currently in liquidity.

  • We strongly recommend that the team renounces ownership.

  • Please ensure trust in the team prior to investing as they have substantial control within the ecosystem.

  • Date: June 26th, 2021

The lockup period is less than a year, maybe 6 months, and the team members each own more tokens that are even available for trading.

For reference, most projects will do a 3+ year lockup period for their tokens. Basically what's happened here is the founders gave the majority of the tokens to themselves who are probably desperately trying to keep the price afloat until they can dump their significant amount of tokens on the market on November 30, 2021. Unless I am reading that wrong and only the UniSwap liquidity vests to the team and their is actually NO lockup period for the team. I'd have to look at the large wallet holders but I don't want to put in that much effort.

The Use Case is so "useless" that a former US EPA Administrator and a top tier NCAA NIL compliance technology are all partnering up. This has more use case than 99% of projects out there. If you have any questions on how supply chain authentication and decentralized ESG standardization are actually useful. Please ask.

P.S. I'm the blockchain architect. I'd love to answer any questions you have.
