Exactly....you went to great detail, which is good for thi6s that don't know, and I believe something else is still in the works...

Something that is revolutionary...I see them doing what FB is trying to do in crypto, revamping and taking the internet/social media and blockchain derived tech to a new level.

I just had the craziest thing happen to me. I got this code from Coinbase on my phone even though I wasn't in it. I then came to my computer and someone had control of my computer and was in Coinbase trying to change my settings. I got about a ten second video of it before I killed the internet.

That was unsettling

someone spoof your cell phone?

This is a good moment for opsec, if you're not practicing decent operational security, 2fa and difficult passwords.

So I have changed all passwords from a different device and cancelled all credit cards. I have also called the internet provider and reset everything.

At 9:30 this morning someone tried to access my google business side from a remote access.

Edit- wrong S9

Not having a good day. When I get done with all of this I'm taking my .357s to the gun range.

Edit- also wiping my computer and reinstalling windows

In 2014 this happened to me. I had clicked a link on an email for a Texas bitcoin conference organizer email... freaked the hell outta me.

The only thing I can see that they tried to jack with is Coinbase.

I logged out of my pro Coinbase app on my phone and tried to log back in. It said my account was frozen temporarily due to too many login attempts.

Of course this is different than the website. The website I caught them on was Coinbase, not pro Coinbase.

Anyway I think my bank accounts and such are secured now.

What a ****ty day

i suggest also wiping clean accounts where you have granted a login access elsewhere.

eg, you use your amazon account to connect to X. or your google login to access X.

i was having some fishy things happening a while back and i realized i had too many secondary accounts connected to things.

You have a bot on your PC. While offline, run an anti-virus scan, look at recently downloaded programs and uninstall anything not needed. If you are really paranoid I would wipe the PC and reinstall operating system.

Long-term, look into getting a yubikey(buy from vendor only) for your laptop, Google authenticator for MFA on coinbase, get a hard wallet(buy from vendor) for long-term hlod coins. Change email and coinbase password every month.

Good post.

So my answer to this is a new computer. In fact I am actually typing on it. It is not new or new to the network even but it has not run in about six months. It's a two years old HP with a good processor.

I am not computer savvy enough to make sure I killed all of that bull***** But I can certainly kill the computer. I am sure it is not necessary, but it works well.

Worst thing about it is Youtube doesnt know my patterns.

Edit- that laptop will probably end up shot and under water.

The plan right now is to shoot it in the morning with this 410 buckshot I overpaid for a few weeks ago, then take it out on Lake Belton tomorrow night and dump it in the middle of the lake.

You think I should burn it too?

Yea. your right. I'm going to burn it after I shoot it.

Thoughts on blockfi? Crypto credit card that gives you 1.5% cash back in Bitcoin. Plus your stored money accrues as it waits for you to withdrawal it.

You know who I try to derive all of my technology investment strategies from? MMA fighters.

Oh and Dennis Rodman, that Potcoin marketing trip to North Korea really paid the mortgage off.

Why is Lith buying promoters? Tron did this and it isn't good.

The tech should inspire and sell itself.

Is anyone staking ADA?

I'm staking a little over 400 tokens and only getting 0.32 tokens every 5 days.

Is this a decent return or should I stake elsewhere?

It depends. My rewards vary from 4.5 - 7 per epoch. There multiple factors ro consider when choosing a pool. Go to Cardano web page and search choosing a stake pool for the best advice.

I believe paid promoters (choosing to be paid in LITH).

No one is saying to buy because of the promoters, but the promos bring eyes and the staff, ensorcia, utility, and white paper should be what convinces you to invest.

It's about getting eyes in ways others aren't. I don't know if you've noticed, but there is a lot of ****coin noise out there.

Have you just not been around the industry that long? Paying celebrities is not only unoriginal in crypto but far from original outside of crypto.

It is impressive that a two month old token has a team in place that can get promos and sponsors from this level of athlete or WSB to get their product and ideas in front of eyes.

This is a crypto news thread...

The white paper and business case have been posted. It's not like I'm just here saying...oh hey buy because of JFF Dak Vitor.

Probably just the fact that tokens that rely and search out paid promoters aren't as "trustworthy". Most that are trustworthy have strong communities, tech, and word of mouth, with little to no paid actors. That doesn't mean Lith is a scam or terrible, it means they are choosing a method that worries experienced people in the space.

I haven't an opinion on you nor lith, but i despise marketing and celebrities in general, and especially celebrities marketing.

Actually I think I have an opinion of you. Did you play on the k2share intramural volleyball team in 2005/6ish? I think I worked with your wife [or you if this is katie].
