What's something that's low right now that is prime for a breakout? I want to sell my BTC that is doing absolutely nothing for me.

I bought BTC in the high 50s so it'll take a long time before it makes me any money. I'm also not really a believer in the "Bitcoin is going to $300k" narrative.

BCH and ADA popping off nicely tonight.

Why do bear markets occur? It's not like the tokens have lost value.

Please explain it like I'm 5.

Market manipulation and a TON of leverage. Wipes out the idiots.

Also crypto trades the news hard. Each time a country bans crypto again, it usually takes a hit. Then it recovers. Rinse and repeat.

First of all, most have no intrinsic value to start with. They are pure speculation based on future outcomes.

No offense to you, but I'm continually baffled by folks on this thread who think crypto is this magical new thing not beholden to normal economic conditions nor the haphazardness of humans investing in them. Really, really perplexing to me. I guess I'm assuming anyone in crypto is also investing in traditional financial markets, but maybe that's a poor assumption on my part and y'all are completely new to investing period.

Lately, you've had China announce another crackdown on BTC, Powell discussing desire for increased regulation and the US launching its own digital currency, and Elon trashing it for its poor sustainability record. All things that cause lack of faith in BTC which drives the whole crypto market whether that's logical or not.

alternating cycles of FOMO and FO bagholder. repeat til broke. or rich. could go either way.

Yeah, this is my entry to investing and I know I don't know a lot.

FML for not buying more MATIC. Dumped mine when it was at $2 after the last dip started. Still made money but shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. Should have bought at $1 or less.

Between those three I think ETH and BTC are more in a consolidation area. Link feels more likely to "pop".

Now I do think YFI and Filecoin are the two coins that love to make big moves so maybe think about those? or Algo's still cheap in my opinion.

Just converted my BTC to ADA. Hoping for a little gain back to the $2.20 range.

Whoever got LINK at $15 robbed a bank

Really want ADA to crash back down to around $1 again. I'm keeping my limit order in place near that level. I don't really want to buy more at its current level.

I agree, BUT I also think ADA dips significantly when politicians US announce intent to regulate crypto.

Probably will also dip when China and US each announce their digital currencies.

Those that are prepared for those significant dips will make a pile of money, IMO.

I bought most of mine below $1.75. I just wish I could get more near $1 because I used up my crypto budget before the last big dip happened.

Buying under $2 is still considered early adopter for ADA...trust me....a lot still to come including a price over $10 this cycle.

I just entered MATIC at 1.98 and sold at 2.04 inside of 4 minutes.
