ADA bounced hard off $1.06. Of course it would do that when my limit order is at $1.04.

I am guessing a lot of people who bought in the $50k's for the first time are panic selling now. We then get BTC ETF in June or someone huge like Facebook buys and we blast back up near ATH. Someone has to lose their shirt in the bull market. Don't be that guy.
I got out of cash and into ADA and ETH last night around midnight. Thought I had timed the bottom.
Clearly I missed it, but still feeling good about a big surge tomorrow and Tuesday.

I bought BTC for the first time in the high $50k's, but deez diamond hands are the stuff of legends.

I know you're somewhat joking, but if I was making an educated guess, the last big dip on 5/19 had BTC drop to near $30k. We are there now, so it could be the bottom before a big recovery.

Feeling ok, I added to ETH, BTC, and ADA this morning.
I really don't like that you have to manually calculate your average cost basis.
Average in at 42k btc, 2100 eth, and 1.32 ada. I picked up more below all of those averages this morning pretty heavy.
I picked up ADA yesterday at 1.55 thinking that was down 25% from ATH. added this morning at 1.15 ha!

At this point I'm trying to pretend it's all gone and stop checking it.
Reminds me of the time I went in big on VOO literally two days before the Covid crash in March of 2020. Felt like I had gone to the bank, taken out a huge chunk of cash and literally thrown it off a cliff

Hodlers remain calm and see buying opportunities. Believing in the projects underlying technology, utility, and vision, gives us green goggles for looking at "tomorrow's " charts/prices.
These prices are great entry points for 2024 if you can manage to wait. Hell, these prices are really good for a July-Sept run.

I think I've hit my limit on total dollars I want to invest in crypto for now. I essentially went from 0% to 0.5% of my total portfolio just in 2021, so I'm going into hold mode for a while. I do have some recurring, monthly investments set up but going to shut down my ad-hoc buying.
Original goal was 1% but I'm content with where I am. Going to focus on my traditional, taxable bucket for rest of year.
In other words, I'll let y'all know what crypto I buy next on a complete whim on page 75.
