Can someone explain why the BTC price when you go to buy on Coinbase is way higher than the actual price?

No...get a Bittrex or Voyager account, even those are setup the same but the difference between actual and posted prce at the time is not that $1800 offphideaux_2003 said:
I buy BTC on SoFi (yes I know I don't actually own it) and my buys are sometimes $1800 above the "real time" streamed price.
Is it THAT much fluctuation?

I feel like I'm pretty good with technology but it I gave up on trying to buy SafeMoon. Extremely tedious and complicated. I guess when they make it easier, it will skyrocket.YourFavAggie said:
Friend got me in SafeMoon on Friday and already doubled. Not sure how long this party will last but its running now
After he explained the process, I had him buy some for me and then I paid him later. Took a day to process his second payment as well. Definitely a complicated processAgs2013 said:I feel like I'm pretty good with technology but it I gave up on trying to buy SafeMoon. Extremely tedious and complicated. Even with Coinbase? You link your cash account like any other financial institution and you can buy crypto immediately. Coinbase is actually faster and easier than any other financial platform I've ever used.Philip J Fry said:
I have coinbase, voyager, and kraken. By far, Voyager is the easiest to navigate between the three. Is there a catch I'm under thinking? I've had a helluva time just moving cash into these services. So much so that I gave up on Kraken.

Bought into safemoon a couple weeks ago, got 210 million for cheap, I'm usually against hype coins but safemoon will have actual utility and the team works their asses off, safe mars, elongate and moonshot are all growing in popularity but I didnt want to get into safe mars or elongate thinking they are just hype coins, but I got my 210 million safemoon and I did buy 15 billion moonshot just to see what happens. They are interesting coins and safemoon has made me alot of money so far
Edit: they also might be getting listed on 2 big exchanges soon, Binance seems like it's almost Guaranteed and then I've heard coinbase but not 100% sure. After they became the number 1 trending crypto on twitter, exchanges reached out to them

I'm gonna be 100% honest with you, I dont know what an elevator pitch is lol, currently they are listed on 4 small exchanges but that could be changing soon, I'm hoping 1 of the 2 big exchanges rumored to be taking on safemoon is either coinbase, kraken or voyager, but we will find out the big news wednesday. Safemoon wants to do some gimmicky stuff ( what I feel is gimmicky) like a video game but one big thing they are working on is the safemoon exchange. The safemoon exchange ( not sure what they will actually call it) will be like the exchanges where you earn crypto for holding but they want it to be for all cryptos on their exchange not just certain ones. I think that is the biggest project. Also they have a very large very fast growing community, alot of people are selling their doge to buy safe moon but it is a pain to get it right now, I'm just happy I bought when I did lol
As for the token itself there are a few issues, first is the massive amount of damn coins, now they did a large burn and continually burn coins so the number is down from 1 quadrillion ( yeah insane) to 600 trillion ( still ****ing too high lol) but it burns with every transaction and transfer. Also you automatically get safemoon just for holding, in the past 2 weeks I've earned over 2 million and did nothing but hold, so I like that but they really need to do another large burn, too many damn coins.
I was shocked that this thing is only 6 weeks old but its market capitol is over 4 billion right now

Crazy that the market has been down as a whole since Saturday.
Does it have a use case with any traction or real world usage?biglebowski said:SidetrackAg said:

Perhaps a rebound day is in order.
When you guys research a crypto what metrics do you use to determine if you want to invest into it?

BTC, ETH, BTC cash, and LTC.

I'll believe the bolded part when I see it. Parent company PayPal doesn't to my knowledge. I think it's buy/sell/hold on their exchange only.
It's no different than robinhood, if you can't move it to your own wallet you don't own it imo.
