Nothing in crypto really surprises me but this surprises me. Def wouldn't buy it now tho.

Another completely stupid coin that normies rush into is Ripple. I wouldn't be surprised if they settle with the SEC and get relisted on coinbase soon so plan accordingly for that to explode.

I put 100 in when it was 9 cents, then another 100 at 5 cents. I made 400 today. Should I put another 100 in? I know next to nothing about the stock market, so I'm genuinely asking if it would be worth it.

At what point would you sell?

I think if it by some miracle it hits $.50 within the next few hours, I'll pull the trigger. Really just looking for any big and sudden downward swings at this point.

It's literally a spoof and a joke. Go to their site. They advertise it as a joke.

Someone will need to do a business case on this one. Overt troll job and people buy it anyway. But if everyone keeps telling one another it's valuable then it is from a speculative perspective.

It can be a spoof and still hold value. There's a 69 million dollar NFT out there. Some coins are just another piece off the fun.

Well I put $500 into Doge two days ago and now I've pulled out $750 and I've still got about $250 into it. Very interesting/weird that's it's not even a real coin. You would think Elon would be worried about lawsuits but I guess everyone knows (or should know) it's not a real coin?

It is a real coin, actually. It's just incredibly unstable given there is no real utility no supply cap. Put Dogecoin in the same category as POGs, Pokmon cards and magic the gathering: there really no extrinsic value, but for the craze.

If you were lucky enough to make money on it, good for you. If you haven't pulled your money ou lot already, I probably won't convince you it's time....but it's time.

Since I bought it as a novelty at .04 I'm going to hang on to it or go down with the ship. I may reconsider if it approaches $1.

Right. I'm just laughing at the silliness of it all. It's the equivalent of those digital cards and gems in my Steam account. They mean and do nothing.

I held some chainlink for 3 years before selling it all for a small doubling of my Money, when I could have 5-6x if I was still holding it. I like the chainlink concept but don't like that the founders control 60% of the supply.

StorJ, filecoin, ADA all have good concepts behind them I like. But the ones you mentioned are all pretty solid.

I'm not a big investor though, I just sprinkle some dollars here and there between coins, and have a paltry monthly recurring buy of Bitcoin.

It's volatile as hell but you could also treat it like pennies/play stocks for now to get you mentally around it. So, for me, that just means a small pool of fun money that goes into plays like this.

I've put about 4k into it since late 2019 and I'm currently sitting at 11k. Thats almost solely Litecoin and Stellar Lumens for me. I own several others in minute amounts by simply watching all of the 2 min videos on Coinbase so those were free.

I have doubled my BTC to 0.006 which will probably have me owning my own island next year though. That will be awesome.

Yeah, I plan a tiny amount like $20-30 a month for now.
